Results are typically delivered within 2 business days. Rush processing is available upon request and is subject to an additional surcharge; advance notice is appreciated.
Office hours are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. If we are out of office, the 24-hour sample drop off box is located outside of our main door.
Flooring samples: We recommend submitting multiple layers if and when possible (glue, adhesive, other flooring types if present).
Plaster samples: Plaster was typically mixed on-site, often resulting in non-homogeneous asbestos distribution. As such, samples taken in close proximity may yield differing asbestos content. We recommend submitting larger samples of plaster OR multiple samples from the same wall/ceiling.
Drywall samples: Asbestos is typically found in the joint compound layer rather than the drywall board itself. We recommend taking samples from corner beads OR where the wall and ceiling meet.
Vermiculite samples: Collect the material from the bottom layer of the insulation (closest to the ceiling below), as contamination tends to settle there. Minimum sample size is 1 cup.
